Your day out of The Hague is not complete without a visit to Madurodam. You can admire all typical Dutch features and buildings in miniature. The park is open all year round and sometimes even into the evenings.
MADURODAM
The cozy town of Madurodam was built in The Hague. Everything that characterizes the Netherlands can be found here, of course not in the original size, but reduced in size by 25 times. Madurodam is a mini-city that gives a good impression of the Netherlands. The city was founded in 1952, actually as a war memorial to commemorate the fallen George Maduro. The theme park has now grown into one of the Netherlands’ largest attractions.
